What data do we collect?
Our company collects the following data:
- Contact details (including at least name, address, e-mail address, phone and fax contact details and associated local time zone information);
- IT systems information (including at least user ID and password, computer name, domain name, IP address, and software usage pattern tracking information i.e. cookies);
- The data subject's e-mail content and transmission data which is available on an incidental basis for the provision of information technology consultancy, support and services (incidental access may include accessing the content of e-mail communications and data relating to the sending, routing and delivery of e-mails); and
- For each customer or partner of data exporter, financial details for at least one method of payment (e.g. credit card number, bank details, data required for other payment methods).
How do we collect your data?
You directly provide our company with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:
- Register online or pay for an exam, application, or credential.
- Take an exam or complete an application
- Use or view our system via your browser’s cookies.
Our company may also receive your data indirectly from Exam and Credential Program Management Organizations whose representatives are also users of the system. In these situations, the Program Management Organizations are "Data Exporters" and our company is a "Data Importer".
How will we use your data?
The personal data transferred will be subject to the following basic processing activities:
Any operation with regard to personal data that is required to fulfill the purpose for which the User or the Data Exporter entered into the Agreement with the Data Importer, as described above, irrespective of the means applied and procedures, in particular the obtaining, collecting, recording, organising, storage, holding, use, amendment, adaptation, alteration, disclosure, dissemination or otherwise making available, aligning, combining, retrieval, consultation, archiving, transmission, blocking, erasing, or destruction of data, the operation and maintenance of systems, management and management reporting, financial reporting, risk management, compliance, legal and audit functions. For the avoidance of doubt, this shall include “processing” which shall have the meaning given to such term in the GDPR.
How do we store your data?
Our company securely stores your data according to our Corporate IT Security and Data Protection Policies.
Our company will keep your data according to the requirements and time constraints defined in our Data Retention Policy. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data using industry standard IT methods necessary to ensure its removal.
Marketing
Our company does not utilize data collected under this policy for marketing purposes of any kind. The data collected will only be utilized for the functional support of the user's activities and the presentation of information (or the generation of informational documents and reports) relevant to those activities within the system.
What are your data protection rights?
Our company would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
- The right to access – You have the right to request our company to provide copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
